Color Proportions

Everstream’s brand color system includes 2 application levels. The primary palette is reserved for backgrounds, our brand device and gradients. The secondary palette is applied alongside the primary color palette and reserved for text, highlights and charts.

Primary Colors

Everstream’s primary palette should equally prioritize Purple Core, White Light, Gray Wave and Navy Pulse over all other colors. The brand should lean into bright, bold layout applications with high contrast sections. This ensures that our brand feels fresh and clean. Use Purple Core and Navy Pulse strategically to call attention to sections, while coloring others with White Light or Gray Wave to elevate the overall design.

Gradients

Our gradients are a cornerstone of our brand expression. We use them in a variety of different ways to build equity and differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Please follow the below guidelines to ensure we maintain a consistent identity.

Primary gradients

Everstream purple and blue background.

Circuit

Rule

Circuit is one of our 3 primary gradient styles and as such should be prioritized. Since Circuit is used in our logo, it can continue to build brand equity when used as a background color. While we encourage its use, make sure it is applied tastefully and strategically. Don’t overdo it, instead use it to draw the eye or highlight key elements on a page or post.

RULES

  • Only include Core and Pulse.
  • Only use as linear gradient, never radial.
  • Position gradient to start from top left corner to bottom right.
  • Core and Pulse should be equally prioritized.

Ultraviolet

Rule

Ultraviolet is the second of our 3 primary gradient styles, so ensure its even use with Circuit and Transverse. Ultraviolet is the only gradient allowed to be used on our brand device, but it can also be used as a background color or on CTAs. For brand device-specific guidelines, review those rules on the brand device page. Here we will only go over rules surrounding its application as a background.

RULES

  • Only include Core, Beam and Pulse, used in that order.
  • Only use as linear gradient, never radial.
  • Position gradient to start from top left corner to bottom right.
  • Core should always be prioritized over Beam and Pulse and as such should be given a larger ratio of space. A good rule of thumb: Give Core ⅔ of the room, then distribute the remaining ⅓ evenly between Beam and Pulse.
  • Core should always start top left, except in instances where the most important information is on the right. In this case flip the gradient to start top right and flow to bottom left, still keeping Core at the top.
Everstream white background.

Transverse

Rule

Transverse is the final of the three primary gradient styles. While this gradient may seem minimal, it is key in providing Everstream with a clean and elevated look. When coloring backgrounds, make sure that of the 3 primary gradients, Transverse is prioritized. Transverse can be used as a linear or radial gradient, so follow the appropriate rules below for application guidelines.

LINEAR RULES

  • Only include Light and Wave.
  • Position gradient to start from top left corner to bottom right.
  • Light and Wave should be equally prioritized.
  • Light should always start top left, except in instances where the most important information is on the right. In this case flip the gradient to start top right and flow to bottom left, still keeping Wave at the top.

Radial RULES

  • Only include Light and Wave.
  • Light should be at center with Wave at the edges.
  • Match radial shape to the image provided; there can be slight changes to this shape based on asset size. If designer sees fit, perfect circular shape is OK.
  • Position Light center over the most important content.

Secondary gradients

Refraction

Rule

Refraction is one of the 2 secondary background gradients. Use the secondary background gradients sparingly, as their intention is to offer more flexibility within the brand for background colors. Refraction can be used as a linear or radial gradient, so follow the appropriate rules below for application guidelines.

LINEAR RULES

  • Only include Core and Hertz.
  • Position gradient to start from top left corner to bottom right.
  • Core and Hertz should be equally prioritized.
  • Core should always start top left, except in instances where the most important information is on the right. In this case flip the gradient to start top right and flow to bottom left, still keeping Core at the top.

Radial RULES

  • Only include Core and Hertz.
  • Core should be at center with Hertz at the edges.
  • Match radial shape to the image provided; there can be slight changes to this shape based on asset size/shape. If designer sees fit, perfect circular shape is OK.
  • Position Core center over the most important content.
Everstream blue background.

Fusion

Rule

Fusion is the second of the 2 secondary background gradients. Fusion can be used as a linear or radial gradient, so follow the appropriate rules below for application guidelines.

LINEAR RULES

  • Only include Beam and Pulse.
  • Position gradient to start from top left corner to bottom right.
  • Beam and Pulse should be equally prioritized.
  • Beam should always start top left, except in instances where the most important information is on the right. In this case flip the gradient to start top right and flow to bottom left, still keeping Beam at the top.

Radial RULES

  • Only include Beam and Pulse.
  • Beam should be at center with Pulse at the edges.
  • Match radial shape to the image provided, there can be slight changes to this shape based on asset size/shape. If designer sees fit, perfect circular shape is OK.
  • Position Beam center over the most important content.
